While Wick were doubtless keen to demonstrate that they are a cut above a 1-1 draw against lowly Fort William, last week, the home team got an early scare when Thistle marked their card by opening the scoring in just six minutes, John Ross netting.
The Blackstairs Lounge hosted a great weekend of 8 ball pool as fourteen teams battled it out for the fourth annual Bfest Pairs Championships. Teams were drawn into two groups of seven, where two teams from each group would qualify for the semi final stage the next day.
