St Fergus bowling club in Wick ran their third successful triples bowls competition at the weekend. 64 triples - 192 bowlers played in the two day competition spread over Thurso, Rosebank and St Fergus bowling greens.15/4/2006

Town & County Open Rinks Competition
The final between Dunbeath and Watten was a classic nail biting finish with score drawn at 6 - 6 after nine ends. The 10th and final end kept the onlookers on the edge of their seats until the last bowl when Watten came out with the final point to win the competition 7- 6.4/11/2001
