Posted By Bill Fernie For Brian Mackay Thurso FC have won their first trophy since 2004 beating Golspie Sutherland 4-2 in The SWL cup Final at Dudgeon Park, Brora on Saturday 10 February 2007, thanks to a Jamie MacKenzie double, Mark Nichol and Gavin Bremner. This is Thurso FC manager Ross Sutherland's first trophy since taking over as manager in 2005.

Following on from their successful season in the North Caledonian League which they won, along with the Morris Newton Cup and the Football Times Cup, Thurso FC swept the board with the awards at the Annual League Dinner. Kevin Morris was joint top goalscorer (with Scott McKain of Dornoch FC) in the League with 16 goals from 18 games.

Just received news that Thurso F.C have won through to their 2nd cup final of the season by defeating Golspie Sutherland 3-2 after extra time in The Football Times Cup Semi-Final this afternoon.
