Caithness Diving Club
Caithness Diving Club was started in the 1960s. It is Branch 0119 of the British Sub Aqua Club and welcomes divers from any of the recognized training agencies or schemes.
CDC currently has around 40 members, distributed throughout Caithness and North Sutherland and meets for dives every Sunday throughout the year, weather permitting. During the summer, dives regularly occur during the weekdays and evenings.
The club CDC has a clubhouse located in Neil Gunn Drive, Henderson Street, Thurso. It houses our boat, air compressors, Nitrox mixing station and other scuba related equipment. The club has a 6.5m RIB, Hagar, which
we use throughout the year. The club moors Hagar in the marina at Wick for the summer months to make evening boat diving more convenient.
Training can be arranged to suit individual requirements at most times during the year.
If you are interested in joining CDC or wish to meet up for a dive please contact Hugh Mackay, Martin Gill or Fiona Watson.
