The Castle of Mey 10k is the most northerly 10k on the British mainland, and is run in the beautiful grounds and surroundings of the historic 14th Century Scottish Castle, the Queen Mother's home in Caithness.
With the kind permission of the Castle and Gardens of Mey, North Highland Harriers are the proud organisers of the Castle of Mey 10K.
The course retains the 2012 route starting at the Castle of Mey and looping through Scarfskerry village before finishing back at the Castle of Mey. This fast flat course offers the runners some stunning scenery along the coastline and with good conditions on the day, both course records for the mens and womens race are up for grabs as well as personal best records for many runners returning from 2012.
