Inverness Swimming A Bargain On Sunday Afternoons

23rd May 2011

Inverness Leisure drop swim price on Sunday afternoons.

Customers coming along to the multi-award winning Inverness Leisure on a Sunday afternoon are in for a nice surprise when they can have a splash around in the swimming pools for only 50p per person.

Speaking about the scheme that has been introduced this weekend, General Manager James Martin said, Its not often in the current climate you hear about a business actually dropping their prices, but thats what weve decided to do at Inverness Leisure.

Most people already know about the great value for money that is offered by the all-inclusive High Life scheme, but we felt that in times where money is tight for some families we wanted to do a little bit more as well. So we have decided to actually drop the price of a swim.

We have therefore come up with an access promotion that will allow anyone in for only 50p each on a Sunday in the hope that it will encourage more people to get into the swim.

Mr Martin went on to explain, The scheme doesnt require any cards or registration, all a customer has to do is come along pay their 50p and they can swim from 3 5 pm every Sunday until the end of the school summer holidays. And theres no limits on the number of tickets that can be purchased by an individual or family.

Sunday afternoon has always been a relatively quiet time for us in the pool, so this means we have the space not to disappoint if the 50p scheme proves very popular, as we think it will. We are hopeful that by offering access to the pools at a really low price, it may encourage some families to get together to swim at a fraction of the normal they would pay for family ticket.

We also know that weekends are predominantly time for the family. So again we hope that by offering what we think is a great promotion over the summer it may help some families to access the facilities much more regularly than they may have.

He concluded, We are really hopeful that the people in and around Inverness who dont have High Life cards will take up the opportunity to swim for 50p between now and the end of the summer holidays.
