Old Pulteney Single Malt Whisky is delighted to once again support the
famous Mey Games which will take place on 5 August at the Castle of Mey - a mere 20 miles from the distillery and Old Pulteney Visitor Centre in Wick.

During the Games, Old Pulteney will be providing whisky prizes for several key events and supplying some of its delicious 21 year old single malt for guests to enjoy in the VIP tent.

The Mey Games is a key date in the Old Pulteney calendar as it continues its tradition of providing support and sponsorship for groups and events within the local community.

This year is an especially exciting one for the distillery as Ian Baxter, Senior Brand Manager for Old Pulteney explained: "We were thrilled to welcome His Royal Highness The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay to Old Pulteney recently where he sampled our whisky and laid down his own cask to mature over the next 15 years. We hope to give him a progress report during the Games and possibly even another sample to try - particularly as he thought Old Pulteney tasted 'superb'."

The brand has recently enjoyed a 15% increase in sales and a 25% rise in visitor figures at its Old Pulteney Visitor Centre, cementing its
position as a top tourist attraction and destination in Caithness.
