A network of major businesses - including Santander, Sky, GlaxoSmithKline, National Grid, British Land and The AA - have formed a national group to urge politicians to form an integrated transport strategy for cycling, British Cycling announced today. Crown1 have won their first ever Wick & District Pool League title, as they were crowned division one champions on Monday night after a 7-5 victory over Blackstairs. In one of the most open title races in recent memory, it was Alan Larnach's Crown team who would clinch the championship putting an end to Camps2's five year winning streak.
The Queens Hotel turned around a 6-3 1st leg deficit to beat The Francis Street Club 6-0 to make it to final of 2014\15 Rockwater Shield where they will face Steve Atkins' Bayview1 side. Jim Bain and Brian Robertson got the Queens off to a perfect start, as they battled hard to earn wins over Stewart Steven and Brian Munro.

ACADEMY gave their fans some anxious moments as they hung on to their waver-thin, first-half lead for victory and despite it being enough to see them through to their first-ever semi-finals of the Highland League Cup, the team will need a better performance if they are to get a crack at the big one.
With only two games remaining in the Wick & District Pool League, the division two title race is hotting up with four teams still in with a chance of finishing in top spot. An inspired captains performance by Graham Harper played a key part in the Francis Street Clubs 9-3 win over top side Queens on Monday night.
