The top three teams in Wick & District Pool League's Division One all recorded victories on Monday night, and are all in with a chance of winning the title with only one match remaining. Bruce Honeyman's Camps2 side remain on top after their 9-3 win relegated Craig Durrand's Seaforth Club side to division two pool next season.
Graham Harper's Francis Street Club side have made it to Wick & District Pool League's Rockwater Shield Final in their debut season. A fantastic team performance helped them ease past first division side Commercial 12-4 on aggregate.
Monday 17th February 2014 The Queens pool team recorded their most important win of the season on Monday night, and now move out of the relegation zone after their 7-5 win over the Seaforth Club. James Dow got the Queens team off to a good start, before Kevin Lightly leveled the match at one frame each.
An outstanding team performance from Crown1 saw them knock Bayview1 off top spot thanks to an 8-4 victory in week 11 of the Wick & District Pool League. Ted Gunn and Alan Larnach both completed total clearances for their respective teams in this match, but Willie Miller was the man of the match as his superb play helped him win all of his games.
Steve Atkins Bayview1 side moved back to the top of division one on Monday night, after Crown1 held Camps2 to a 6-6 draw in week ten of the Wick & District Pool League. Alan Larnach's Crown1 side played some exceptional pool as they came from 2-0 down to lead 5-2, before Camps2 battled back to earn the draw.

Ryan Cook's Blackstairs side recovered from a 6-4 first leg loss against Bayview to book their place in the Rockwater Shield Quarter Finals thanks to a 6-2 second leg win. The defending champions put in an excellent team performance to knock out the experienced Lybster team.
Alan Larnach's Crown1 team showed great battling qualities on Monday night as they came from 3-0 down to defeat Retro1 6-4 in the first round of the Rockwater Shield. Fantastic clearances from Stevie Wyllie and Alan Stewart in the last two frames helped the Crown side gain a narrow lead in this first leg match.
The Commercial remain top of Wick & District Pool Leagues first division as they kept up their 100% record after defeating Blackstairs 8-4 on Monday night. Gavin Mackay and John Mcgill were the outstanding players of the night, helping the Lybster side get the better of last seasons Rockwater Shield champions.
The 2013/14 Wick & District Pool League season got underway on Monday night, with the Lybster derby between Bayview1 and The Commercial the pick of the ties. Raymond Gunn was the star player as he won all three of his games to help The Commercial cruise into a 7-1 lead.
